TRAYCE GIGI FIELD

Costume Designer Trayce Gigi Field’s striking design style had catapulted her to the top of her field in the world of film and television.  She recently completed the Emmy-contending fan-favorite Starz’s series “Now Apocalypse” and Netflix’s, “Dead To Me,” starring Linda Cardellini, who’s series character Judy Hale has been haled as a style icon, and Christina Applegate.

Upcoming for Field is the highly-anticipated Netflix series “AJ and The Queen,” starring RuPaul as a down-on-her-luck drag queen, traveling across America in an RV, with a tough-talking 11-year-old stowaway.  Field’s keen sense of fashion immerses the audience in this chic and emotional journey.

In addition to her recent costume design for “Now Apocalypse” and “Dead To Me,” Field is well-known for her work on the hit Warner Bros./CBS comedy series “2 Broke Girls,” starring Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, especially the design of the series’ iconic yellow and red diner uniforms.

With over 30 credits as a costume designer, Field is recognized for her unparalleled abilities in creating powerful character motifs through costume.  Her vibrant taste in color and her adventurous compilations of vintage, high and low fashion is exemplified by her television work on HBO’s “The Comeback,” IFC’s “The Spoils of Babylon,” starring Toby Maguire, Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell, HBO’s “Funny or Die Presents….” and more.  Field’s costume design has also been featured in films, such as the Oscar-nominated “Precious,” Will Ferrell’s “Casa de mi Padre,” as well as numerous commercial and print campaigns for Target, Verizon, State Farm, and GoDaddy.

Field is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and currently resides in Los Angeles.
